Wilma Burnworth, 98, of Confluence, a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed into God's hands on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at her home. She was born August 21, 1916 in Friendsville, Maryland, a daughter of Frisbee and Minnie (Umbel) Humberson. Her parents and loving husband of 58 years, Elmer Burnworth preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, James Burnworth and wife, Alice, Confluence; grandchildren, Rev. David Burnworth, Keith Burnworth, and Lisa Burnworth and 14 great grandchildren. Friends will be received from 11 AM – 2 PM the hour of service on Monday, January 12, 2015 at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence. Rev. David Burnworth, Wilma's grandson, will officiate. Interment will follow in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
