WHALEY
William W. Whaley, 81, of Confluence, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015 at his home. He was born April 21, 1934 in Lower Turkeyfoot Twp., a son of Lewis and Mary Grace (Hyatt) Whaley. His parents, brother, John and sisters, Elsie Reckner, Betty Warrick, Mary Anderson, Dorothy McClintock and Permelia Beachy preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Janet (Beachy), daughters, Jane Burnworth and husband, Allan, and Patsy Ohler and husband, Dane, all of Confluence; sons, Ed and wife, Teresa, Markleton and Todd and wife, Laura, Somerset; brothers, Delmer and wife, Colleen and Arnold and wife, Arlene, all of Confluence. Bill worked at Riverside Motor Sales in Confluence for over 30 years. He enjoyed woodworking and collecting antiques. There will be no viewing. The family will receive friends from 4-6 PM Sunday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence where a service will follow at 6 PM with Rev. Samuel McClintock and Rev. Ronald Schaeffer officiating.
