Virginia L. Tressler, 74, Confluence, passed away December 9, 2020 in Cary, North Carolina. She was born June 28, 1946, a daughter of the late Charles H. and Mary K. (Umbel) Blubaugh. She is survived by daughters, Sheila Tressler, Confluence and Autumn Muehlbauer and husband, Paul, Apex, NC; grandchildren, Robert Lager and wife, Makenna, Kaitlyn Rugg and husband, Ricky, Ricky McClintock, and Miranda, Portia and Skylar Muehlbauer; great grandchildren, Beckett Lee, Aubree Lager, Araina  Rugg and Presley Lager; and her former husband, Raymond R. Tressler, Confluence. Virginia worked for Congressman John Murtha for 35 years and was a member of Confluence V.F.W. Post 7250 Ladies Auxiliary and the Confluence United Methodist Church. She was a 1964 graduate of Turkeyfoot Valley High School. Due to COVID-19 occupancy restrictions a private visitation and funeral service will be held with Rev. Samuel McClintock officiating. Interment in Addison Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Humane Society of Somerset County, PO Box 182, Somerset, PA 15501.
