Thomas R. Russell, 57, Addison, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023 at his home. He was born March 29, 1965 in Bakersfield, CA. His wife, Rebecca preceded him in death. He is survived by his mother, Annie Goodson, Markleysburg, wife, Stephanie (Hosmer), children, Thomas R. Russell, II and wife, Mary, Winter Haven, FL, Keith J. Russell, State College, Kenneth E. Russell, Tallahassee, FL, Jay A. Minton, Markleysburg, Brittanie Baker, Altoona, Cheyenne Savage, Confluence, Paige Klepsky and husband, Robert, Mt. Pleasant and 18 grandchildren. Tom retired from the US Navy, after having served his country for 21 years. He was a member and president of the Addison Vol. Fire Dept. and a member of Confluence VFW Post 7250, Rockwood American Legion Post 279 and the Addison United Methodist Church. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where a service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday with Rev. Samuel McClintock officiating. In honor of Tom's service to his country and community, the Somerset County Honor Guard and Addison Vol. Fire Dept. will also participate. There will be viewing one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
