Sharon L. Hilliard, 65, Central City, formerly of Confluence, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025 at UPMC Magee Women's Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born January 21, 1960 in Confluence, a daughter of Scott F. and Verna Pearl (Thomas) Hilliard. Her parents, partner of 30 years, Steven Chipps, Sr., brothers, Martin, Keith, Dennis, Ronald, Ray and Clyde Hilliard and sisters, Jean Hause and Ida Thompson preceded her in death. She is survived by daughters, Susan Jackson (Marc), Somerset, Anice Werner (Clyde), Hooversville and Cathy Chipps (Aaron Miller), Kimmelton and a son, Steven Chipps, Jr. (Michelle), Friedens; 14 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; close friend and companion, Nelson Stahl, Central City; brother, James Hilliard, Rockville, MD and sisters, Faye Shaffer, Ursina and Denise Foy, Berlin. Friends will be received from 1-3 PM Saturday, July 26, 2025 at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where a memorial service will follow the visitation at 3 PM.
