Ruth Ann Porterfield, 58, of Confluence, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014 in Somerset Hospital. She was born April 15, 1955 in Upper Turkeyfoot Twp., a daughter of Roosevelt and Alice (Ohler) Kreger Porterfield. Her parents, sisters, Martha Nicholson, Dorothy Mitts, and Leora McClintock and a brother, Clarence Kreger preceded her in death. She is survived by brothers, Raymond Kreger, Confluence, Paul Kreger and Roger Porterfield, both of Ursina and sisters, Shirley King and Loretta Rugg of Confluence. Friends will be received at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence on Friday, February 14, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM and Saturday, February 15, 2014 from 11 AM – 1 PM the hour of service with Rev. Paul Tobias officiating. Interment in Old Bethel Cemetery.
