Ruth H. Karla, 92, Confluence, passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at In Touch Hospice, Somerset.  She was born November 17, 1928 in Humbert, a daughter of Roy L. and Lillie (Romesburg) Deal. Her parents and two brothers, Warren Deal and Wilfred Brown, preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter Sandy Romesburg (John), North Huntington, and son Ron Karla (Louise), Confluence; grandchildren, Amanda Kane, Kally Little (David), Andrew Karla, Jarred Romesburg (Sarah) and Jonna Romesburg; great grandchildren, Kathryn and Elizabeth Kane, Michael and Keenan Little, Katherine and Madeline Romesburg, and a special caregiver, Christy Fazenbaker. Ruth was a member of the Turkeyfoot Baptist Church in Confluence and Confluence V.F.W. Post 7250 Ladies Auxiliary. The family would like to extend thanks to In Touch Hospice for their care. Friends will be received from 1-2 PM Friday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, followed by a graveside service at Confluence Baptist Cemetery, with Rev. Samuel McClintock officiating.
