Ruth Anne Edwards, 67, Confluence, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born August 18, 1954 in Confluence, a daughter of the late Charles "Red" and Miriam (Colburn) Rodahaver. She is survived by her husband, Richard; daughters, Alexis Haase (Jamie), Confluence and Rachael Dickens (Grady), Hopwood; son, C.W. Howell, Confluence; grandchildren, Gavin Ainsley, Bree Dickens and Travis, Maria and Filisha Haase and great grandchildren, Greyson and Brayden Zack and Everleigh Haase. She was a 1972 graduate of Turkeyfoot Valley Area High School and a former member of the school board. Ruth Anne was dedicated to her community. A licensed EMT, she served with the Confluence and Fayette Ambulance services and organized American Red Cross blood drives in the area for many years. She also was employed as a legal secretary prior to retirement. At her request, there will be no viewing or funeral service. Contributions in her memory can be sent to either the Confluence or Addison Vol. Fire Depts. or to Somerset Area Ambulance Assoc.
