Ruth H. Bollinger, 86, of Poughkeepsie, NY, formerly of Addison, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024 in Poughkeepsie. She was born March 20, 1938 in Addison, a daughter of Skiles F. and Leah Belle (Crawford) Montague. Her parents, husband, Robert, grandson, James Douglas Melton, brother, Skiles Fielding Montague and a sister, Eleanor Burkett preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters, Twila McClintock (Mark), Confluence and Eleanor Perry (Samuel), Poughkeepsie; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a brother, Thomas Montague, Morgantown, WV. Ruth was a 1957 graduate of Turkeyfoot Valley Area High School and a member of the Confluence Church of the Nazarene. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday, September 18th at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Thursday, September 19th at the Confluence Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Samuel Perry officiating. Interment will follow in Addison Cemetery. There will be viewing at the church one hour prior to the service.
