Roy Douglas Troy, 76, Confluence, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2026 at his home. He was born March 28, 1950 in Confluence, a son of David V. and Ida E. (Wilhelm) Troy. His parents and a brother, Mark preceded him in death. He is survived by sisters, Deborah LeWalk (Jay), Cheryl Gilleland, Terri Nicholson (Craig), Melanie Sanner and Lisa Younkin (Bill); nieces, Kelly Dryfield, Brittany Steele (Evan), Brooke Nicholson (Jackie Madison), Ammie Sanner, Angie Mitchell (John), Jenna Sanner, Taylor Troy, Casey Pritts and Chase Younkin; great nieces and nephews, Ashleigh Pletcher Young (Ricky) and their children, Sage and Gunnar, Danielle Pletcher (Anthony Oakes) and their children, Myah and Kaiden, Tanner and Lauren Mitchell, Joshua Dowdy and Braxton and Jaxson Sanner. Doug was a 1968 graduate of Turkeyfoot Valley Area High School. He was a member of Laborer’s Union Local 1058 and worked in the construction industry as a bridge inspector until his retirement. There will be no funeral service at this time.
