Ronald S. Conn, 80, Confluence, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Select Specialty Hospital, Johnstown. He was born March 24, 1940 in Confluence, a son of Joseph R. and Edna (Augustine) Conn. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Carolyn (Hook) and 10 siblings; sisters, Mildred Johnson, Geneva Cowden, Carolyn Will and Sarah, Delores Rojeane and Eileen Conn and brothers, Joseph A. "Pappy", Clinton, Delford and Cleatus. He is survived by a daughter, Tracey McClintock, Confluence and a son, Ryan and wife, Betsy, Rockwood; 4 grandchildren, Amanda Enders Conn, Jaxson Conn, Tyler McClintock (Lindsay) and Logan McClintock (Allison); and a brother, Joseph P. "Butch" Conn, Maryland. Ronnie was a veteran of the US Army, a 1958 graduate of Turkeyfoot Valley High School and a member of Cement Masons Union Local 526, Pittsburgh. He was a diehard Steeler, Pirate and Penguin fan and dearly loved his grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private funeral service will be held Wednesday with Rev. Ronald Schaeffer officiating. Interment will follow in Jersey Cemetery. Facial coverings and social distancing will be required at the viewing on Tuesday.
