Robert Edgar Tressler, 85, of Markleton, died November 26, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 18, 1939, in Markleton, the son of Edgar R. and Trellis J. (Clevenger) Tressler. His parents and son-in-law, Gary Wevodau, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Margie, daughters Darla Wevodau (Hilbert Houseknecht) and Amy Gonzalez (Antonio), and his beloved granddaughter, Alejandra. Family was of utmost importance to him. He retired after many years driving truck. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter. He also enjoyed traveling and seeing the country.  There will be no viewing or funeral service. A private graveside service, with burial in Kingwood IOOF Cemetery, will be held for his immediate family per his request.
