Robert L. Lytle, 75, Ursina, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2020 at In Touch Hospice, Somerset. He was born October 3, 1944 in Confluence, a son of Homer W. and Faye (Hyatt) Lytle. His parents, wife, Shirley (Smith) Lytle, granddaughter, Heather Mae Lytle, step mother, Hattie Lytle and sisters, Patricia Kreger, Sue Ann Lytle and Nancy Lytle preceded him in death. He is survived by sons, Robert and wife, Dessiree (Hall), Garrett and Michael and wife, Kelly (Chitester), Confluence and a daughter, Amber Lytle and her boyfriend, Roy Barron, Jr., Confluence; grandchildren, Acasia, William, Craig, Sophia, and Maverick; also, brothers, Harry, Harold, James, Dale and William, all of Confluence, Scott, Farmington and Chuck Foy, Sarasota, Florida. Bob retired from Waste Management where he worked as a heavy equipment operator. He was a US Army veteran of Vietnam and a member of Confluence V.F.W. Post 7250, Ursina American Legion Post 946, Turkeyfoot Fish and Game Club and the NRA. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where in observance of COVID-19 regulations a private funeral service will be held at 1 PM Monday with Rev. Samuel McClintock officiating. Interment will follow in Ursina Cemetery with military rites performed by the Somerset County Honor Guard. There are no restrictions on the number attending the graveside service though masks and social distancing are encouraged.
