Robert G. Johnson, 68, Markleton, went to be with the Lord on September 12, 2019 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born October 4, 1950 in Confluence, a son of Emory and Edna (Cameron) Johnson. His parents and a brother, Leroy preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Carol (Bailey); daughter, Leslie Trimpey and husband, Stuart, Markleton; granddaughter, Nicole Bruner and husband, James and grandson, Cody Trimpey, all of Markleton; great grandchildren, Brayden, Myah and Hunter; brothers, Sam Johnson, John Johnson and wife, Amanda, James Johnson and wife, Mary, all of Ohio; sisters, Mona Ruth Anderson and husband, James, Wheaton and Bonnie Popp and husband, William, Farrell, Tenna Johnson-Fletcher and Brenda Johnson, both of Ohio; sister-in-law, Peggy Johnson, Florida; also, 3 aunts and numerous cousins. Bob attended the Kingwood Church of God. He worked for Lichtenfels for 24 years and operated his own junk yard. Friends will be received from 5-7 PM Tuesday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where a service will follow the viewing at 7 PM with Rev. James Monticue and Pastor James Anderson officiating.
