Richard W. Trimpey, 74, Markleton, passed away peacefully, Sunday, September 24, 2023 at his home. He was born October 19, 1948 in Upper Turkeyfoot Township, a son of Ralph F. and Ruth (King) Trimpey. His parents, brothers, Ralph, Jr., James and Daniel and sisters, Carol Trimpey, Mildred King, Judy Gober and Lois Baker preceded him in death. He is survived by sons, Chad and wife, Brittaney and Dakota, both of Pittsburgh; granddaughter, Kennedy; girlfriend, Beth Huhn and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Rich was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a retired member of Laborers Union Local 1058, Pittsburgh. He loved the woods and outdoors, especially hunting spring gobbler and cutting and splitting wood with his grandpap's old faithful maul (ax). He enjoyed helping people in the community and had a deep respect for those who served in the military. At his request, there will be no viewing or funeral service.
