Rebecca Carol Hilliard, 70, of Confluence, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2013 in Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. She was born January 31, 1943 in Meyersdale. She is survived by her husband, Gerald Martin Hilliard, daughters, Karen Turner and fiancé, Dave Harris, Sharpsville, Sherry Cornelius and husband, Don, Waterford and Denise Schroyer, Union City; sons, John Schroyer and companion, Ann Brooks, Union City and Scott Hilliard and wife, Tiffany, Confluence; step sons, Doug Hilliard, Markleysburg and Mark Hilliard, Oakland, MD; 10 grandchildren; and brothers, Art Frazee, Farmington, Ken Frazee, Delaware and Ralph Frazee, Ohio. Sisters, Mary Jane Lohr, France Ann Friend and Evelyn Fike preceded her in death. Carol worked for a number of years as a nurse's aide at Henry Clay Villa in Markleysburg and was a member and former steward at Confluence V.F.W. Post 7250. She also belonged to the Turkeyfoot Fish and Game Association. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence where a service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, October 31, 2013 with Rev. Dean Hay, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Humbertson Cemetery, Markleysburg.
