BENDER
Phyllis L. Bender, 79, of Addison, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015 at Lytle's Personal Care Home, Markleysburg. She was born August 9, 1936 in Confluence. She was the daughter of Harry "Bud" and Helen (Bender) Leydig. Her parents and husband, Carl W. "June" Bender, Jr. preceded her in death. She is survived by twin sons, Jerry and wife, Chris, Addison and Terry and wife, Cathy, Fort Hill; three grandchildren, Neil and Maddie Bender, both of Fort Hill and Shawn Suter, Uniontown; sisters, Jolene Larkins, California, Joan Hayes and husband, Leon, Keyser, West Virginia and Marjorie Holsopple, Somerset and a brother, Tome Leydig and Nancy Gribble, Rockwood. Phyllis was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Addison and the Addison Vol. Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Monday in St. John's Lutheran Church with Rev. Glenn P. Foster officiating. Interment in Addison Cemetery. There will be viewing in the church one hour prior to the service.
