Phillip C. "Curt" Gosnell, 66, of Fort Hill, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014 at his home. He was born December 3, 1947 in Confluence, a son of the late Phillip S. Gosnell and Madeline (Burnsworth) Gosnell Konyuk. He is survived by his wife, Susan Christine; sons, Christopher Gosnell, Sterling, VA and Judson Gosnell and wife, Chelsea, Columbus, OH; grandsons, Curtis and Brian Gosnell and the following brothers and sisters; Linda Hyatt and husband, Gary, Slippery Rock, Todd Gosnell and wife, Mary, Fort Hill, Jon Michael Konyuk and wife, Marla, Beckley, WV, Scott Gray and wife, Jan, Atlanta, Ga, Elizabeth Lytle and husband, Kevin, Somerset, Terry Gosnell and wife, Brenda, Seligman, MO, Timothy Gosnell, Coral Gables, FL and Nicole Hicks and husband, Kevin, Camino, CA. Curt was a US Army veteran of Vietnam, serving with the 82nd Airborne Division. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Fort Hill, Meyersdale Lodge 554 F. & A.M., and Confluence V.F.W. Post 7250. He was a former member and past president of the Confluence Lions Club and along with his brother, Todd, owned and operated Gosnell Heating in Confluence. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday, July 28, 2014 at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence where a service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, July 29, 2014 with Rev. Glenn Foster and Rev. Samuel McClintock officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery.
