Pearle R. Kimmel, 92, of Confluence, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at her home. She was born November 5, 1922 in Somerset, a daughter of Charles and Eliza (Hensel) Shaulis. Her parents, husband, Roy, son, Robert, sisters, Mabel Glover and Ruth Nicholson and son-in-law, Richard Smith preceded her in death. She is survived by daughters, Virginia Warnick and husband, Donald, Confluence and Karol Smith, Washington; sons, Charles and wife, Linda, Anchorage, Alaska, Richard and wife, Diane, Confluence and Randall; 16 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. Pearle was a lifelong member of the Lutheran denomination. She loved her family, music and gardening. There will be no viewing or visitation. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 11 AM in the Addison United Methodist Church with Rev. Samuel McClintock officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Pearle's memory to the Confluence Creative Arts Center, c/o Jay Best, 237 Old Farm Road, Confluence, PA 15424 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
