Melissa L. (Byrd) Miller, 44, Hampstead, MD passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019 at her home. She was born August 18, 1975 in Missouri, a daughter of Gordon and Rebecca (Flick) Byrd of Confluence. Also surviving are a son Michael Chapman and wife, Amanda, Waymart, PA; a daughter, Samantha Miller, Wards, AR; 3 step grandchildren and brothers, Scott Byrd and wife, Michelle and Ken Byrd, all of Confluence. Melissa attended Turkeyfoot Valley High School and Meade Senior High School in Ft. Meade, MD. There will be no funeral services at this time. A memorial dinner will be held at 3 PM Sunday, September 1, at the Confluence Senior Center.
