Melda Y. Wilson, 87, Confluence, passed away Friday, October 16, 2026. She was born November 8, 1938 in Confluence, a daughter of Lester and Mae (Shroyer) Conn. Her parents, husband, Paul, son, Lester, 5 brothers and 4 sisters preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Stark (Tim), Fort Hill and sons, Alan and Michael (Alicia), both of Confluence; grandchildren, Dakota Wilson, Marissa Snyder, Gerald Wilson, Robert and Tiffany Stark, Haylee Labrakopoulos and Olivia and Jordan Siegfried; 5 great grandchildren and a sister, Dana Troup (Dennis), Somerset. The family would like to thank all the caregivers who so willingly gave of their time and assisted them during their mother’s illness. They are all greatly appreciated. A graveside service will be held at 1 PM Tuesday in the Jersey Cemetery with Rev. Samuel McClintock officiating. Family and friends are invited.
