Martin W. Stevanus, 70, of Markleton, passed away November 1, 2016 at his home. He was born June 17, 1946 in Elk Lick Township, a son of Jerry and Alverta Stevanus. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Norma Jean (Miller), second wife, Helen (Hetrick), daughter, Jessica Lynne, son, Wayne, granddaughter, Heather Mae Lytle, brother, Clifford and sister, Gilda Yoder. He is survived by daughters, Christina Faidley and husband, Don, Gray, Kathleen Evans and husband, Michael, Somerset; son, David and wife, Amber, US Army in Germany; step daughters, Beverly Stevanus, Markleton and Christel Nicola and husband, Bill, Ursina; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Martin was a kind and loving person, known for his sense of humor and his volunteer work with the Confluence Ambulance Assoc. and the Turkeyfoot Food Pantry. A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, November 19, 2016 in the United Community Church of God in Ursina with Rev. Dean Hay, Jr. officiating.
