Marlene G. Woods, 76, of Confluence, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013 in UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh. She was born May 4, 1937 in Confluence, a daughter of Jesse W. and Mary Ellen (Morrison) Kemp. Her parents, daughter, Patty, son, Mark and brother, Don preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Donald Woods, daughter, Sharon Geco and husband, Bob, Long Beach, CA, son Timothy Woods, Confluence, grandson, Keith Woods, granddaughter, Jessica Dobbins, great grandchildren, Nikki, Annie, Erick, Shawn and Bobby, brother, Wilbert Kemp, Confluence and sister, Lorraine Knepper, Friedens. Marlene was an avid genealogist and a member of the Markleysburg congregation of Jehovah's Witness. She graduated with an associate degree from Westmoreland County Community College. Friends will be received from 7-9 PM Saturday, November 30, 2013 and 11 AM to 1:30 PM, the hour of service, Sunday, December 1, 2013, at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence. Interment will follow in Jersey Cemetery.
