Margaret E. Minnick, 91, Confluence, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Comforts of Home Personal Care Home, Confluence. She was born March 2, 1934 in Friendsville, MD, a daughter of Walter and Martha (Fisher) Bower. Her parents, husband, Paul, son, Sam, sister, Louise Lytle and a brother, Robert Fisher preceded her in death. She is survived by a sister, Linda Hay (Chip Ulery), Smithburg, MD and numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret was a 1952 graduate of Confluence High School, was employed as a nurse at Price Hospital in Confluence and for many years served as the school nurse for Turkeyfoot Valley Area School District. She was a long standing member of Confluence Methodist Church and numerous civic organizations. Friends will be received from 4-8 PM Friday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where a service will be held at 11 AM Saturday with Rev. Valerie Stark officiating. Interment will follow in Confluence Baptist Cemetery. There will be viewing one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
