Mardelle L. Snyder, 96, Rockwood, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018 at The Patriot in Somerset. She was born December 16, 1921 in Scullton, a daughter of Richard and Capitola (King) Ansell. Her parents, husband Robert and sisters, Imogene Pletcher and Sara Kreger and a brother, Donald Ansell preceded her in death. She is survived by sons, Darl Robert Snyder, Charles Town, WV, Keith Snyder and wife, Kimberly and Jim Snyder and wife, Barbara, both of Rockwood and daughters, Noreeta Stern and husband, Thomas, Glenmoore and Cathy Phillippi and husband, Cary, Rockwood; 11 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. Mardelle was a member of the Kingwood Church of God and a lifelong member of the Queen Victoria Rebekah Lodge No. 575. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM Monday in the Kingwood Church of God with Rev. James Monticue officiating. Interment will follow in Kingwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery. There will be viewing at the church on Monday one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Kingwood Church of God.
