Lynet Rae (Gross) Adolphson, 71, of Rockwood, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Somerset Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Somerset. She was born December 27, 1952 in Somerset to Oscar and Doris (Wiltrout) Gross. Her parents and husband, Neal, whom she married August 20, 1972 preceded her in death. Neal passed away on July 18, 2023. Lynet was a 1970 graduate of Rockwood Area High School and a member of the Garrett Christian Community Church and the Laurel Highlands Chorale. She was a great friend, cousin and Nana to the many children she cared for in her home over the years. Her doggies, Gretchen, Kelly and Sage were a big part of her life and await her over the rainbow bridge. Her family would like to thank the staff at Somerset Healthcare and ViaQuest Hospice for their loving care. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at 2 PM in the New Centerville Church of God with Roy Countryman officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, New Centerville.
