Loretta Fisher Wright, 94, Markleysburg, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Henry Clay Villa, Markleysburg. She was born May 25, 1925 in Hutchinson, Fayette County, PA, a daughter of Samuel B. and Martha (Davis) Fisher. Her parents, husband, Harry "Dutch" Wright, 2 brothers and 3 sisters preceded her in death. She is survived by daughters, Virginia Matthews and husband, John, Laytonsville, MD, Alice Fye and husband, Mark, Bumpass, VA, Patricia Whetsell and husband, Harry "Tim", Addison, and Janet Wright, Stevensville, MD; 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Gladys Gilland, Lascassas, TN. Loretta was a member of the Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church. There will be no viewing. A funeral service will be held Sunday, June 23, 2019 at 1 PM in the Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Samuel McClintock officiating. Interment in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Michael Brown, c/o Crossroads Church, 1041 S. Carroll St., Hampstead, MD 21074 to help defray medical expenses for Loretta's great grandson, Dylan Brown, who was seriously injured in an automobile accident.
