Kathleen J. Wheaton Smith, 83, of Markleton, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013 in Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. She was born September 21, 1929 in Upper Turkeyfoot Township, a daughter of Frank and Hazel (Tressler) Younkin. Her parents, husbands, Douglas F. Wheaton and William Robert Smith, brothers, Robert, William and Randall Younkin and a step grandson, Wayne Morgan preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter, Sharyn Morgan and husband, Doug and a son, Douglas Wheaton and wife, Wanda, all of Rockwood; 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, sister, Dolly Kinsinger and husband, Ed, Confluence and brother Cenneth Younkin, who she raised, and his wife, Dorothy, Rockwood. Friends will be received from 2-9 PM Tuesday, September 17th at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where a service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, September 18th with Rev. James Monticue and Rev. Paul Tobias officiating. Interment in Kingwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
