Karen M. Hoover, 61, Fort Hill, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026 at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born February 14, 1964 in Meyersdale, a daughter of Harvey and Leora (Kreger) McClintock. Her parents and a son, Nicholas preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Glenn L. Hoover, Jr., sons, Glenn III (Wendy), Jeremy (Brittany), Ben (Amanda), Steven (Ashlyn) and Maverick and daughters, Becky and Savannah; ten grandchildren and a sister, Cathy McClintock. Karen was employed as a special education teacher at Turkeyfoot Valley Area School District. Friends will be received from 4-7 PM Friday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where a memorial service will follow the visitation at 7 PM with Rev. Dean Hay, Jr. officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to a charity of the donor's choice.
