Joseph Richard Edwards III, 73, Confluence, passed away Monday, October 10, 2022 at the home of his daughter in Uniontown. He was born August 18, 1949 in Confluence, a son of Joseph R. and Virginia (Black) Edwards. His parents and wife, Ruth Ann (Rodahaver), who died on May 21, 2022 preceded him in death. He is survived by daughters, Alexis Haase (Jamie), Confluence and Rachael Dickens (Grady), Uniontown and son, C.W. Howell, Confluence; grandchildren, Gavin Ainsley, Bree Dickens and Travis, Maria and Filisha Haase; great grandchildren, Greyson and Brayden Zack and Everleigh Haase; also a brother, Robert Edwards (Vicki), Confluence. Richard was a 1967 graduate of Turkeyfoot Valley Area High School and Slippery Rock University. He was a crisis worker for Somerset MHMR until his retirement. Rich was a likeable, relaxed, laid-back person and a friend to all. There will be no viewing or visitation.
