John M. McClintock, 84, Fort Hill, passed away Friday, February 21, 2025 at his home. He was born June 16, 1940 in Fort Hill, a son of Dorsey and Hazel (Sechler) McClintock. His parents and a brother, Warren preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Sharon (Livengood); a son, Marc McClintock (Terra), Seattle, WA; grandson, Leo, Seattle; sister, Jean Conn (Larry), Fort Hill and numerous nieces and nephews. John was a member of the Scullton Rod and Gun Club and the Turkeyfoot Valley Historical Society. He was a retired sign painter and also worked at Seven Springs Resort and Fallingwater. One of his cherished moments in life was the two weeks he spent in Guatemala in 1976 as part of a group from Somerset Alliance Church, who were there to help rebuild churches and schools following a devastating earthquake. There will be no viewing or funeral service at this time. A memorial service will be announced in the coming weeks.
