John W. Durr, 71, of Confluence, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 at his residence. He was born April 14, 1945 in Baltimore, Maryland, a son of the late William F. and Mary (Byrne) Durr. He is survived by sisters, Mary E. Allen and husband, Edward and Juanita T. Colbourn and husband, Joseph all of Baltimore and brothers, James G. Durr and wife, Bonnie, Baltimore and David W. Durr and wife, Laura, Saratoga, California as well as nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 1-2 PM Friday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence followed by a private burial in Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery.
