Jody Thomas Griffith, infant son of Dalton Griffith and Jessica Close, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2026 at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. In addition to his parents, he is survived by grandparents, Jody and Gerri Griffith and Stacy Feathers; great grandparents, Audrey Feathers, Thomas Close and Donald Griffith; siblings, Remington and Harper Griffith; an aunt, Ashley Close and her children, Kaitlynn and Ryleigh and uncles, Glenn Close and Dakota and Dallas Griffith. His grandfather, Thomas Close, Jr. and great grandparents, Louise Close and John Feathers preceded him in death. Funeral services, with Rev. Samuel McClintock officiating will be private.
