James R. Ream, 69, Confluence, passed away Monday, July 15, 2019. He was born July 1, 1950 in Confluence, a son of Norman and Mabel (Fera) Ream. His parents, brother-in-law, James Fisher and a nephew, Dwight Fisher preceded him in death. He is survived by a sister, Nancy Fisher, Berlin and a brother, David Ream and wife, Judy, Addison; also, nieces and nephews, Theresa Johnson and husband, Ronald, Glenn Fisher, Ed Nickelson, Janice Nickelson and Janet Friend and husband, Ronnie and numerous great nieces and nephews. Jim was a graduate of Turkeyfoot Valley High School Class of 1968 and attended California (PA) University. He was employed as a Lower Turkeyfoot Township supervisor for over 28 years and served on numerous committees for the Somerset Co. Association of Townships. He was a member of the Harnedsville United Methodist Church and the Turkeyfoot Fish and Game Assoc. There will be no viewing. Friends will be received from 1-3 PM Sunday, July 28, 2019 at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where a memorial service will follow the visitation at 3 PM with Rev. Samuel McClintock officiating. Inurnment in Jersey Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to either the Confluence or Addison Volunteer Fire Departments.
