Ida Kay Thompson, 73, Confluence, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024 at her home. She was born February 10, 1951 in Confluence, a daughter of Scott and Verna Pearl (Thomas) Hilliard. Her parents, son, Gregg Hilliard, sister, Jean Hause and brothers, Ronald, Clyde, Ray, Dennis, Keith and Martin preceded her in death. She is survived by daughters, Liz Metheney and Linda Sterner (Von), both of Confluence and sons, Bob Ickes (Beth), Meyersdale and Jon Ickes (Laura Hetz), Somerset; grandchildren, Jasmine, Misty, Elizabeth, Richard II, Casey, Gracie, Darren, Luke and Abby; close great grandchildren, Gabi and Tatum and 6 additional great grandchildren; brother, James Hilliard (Samantha), Rockville, MD and sisters, twin sister Faye Shaffer, Ursina, Denise Foy (Tom), Berlin and Sharon Hilliard, Windber. Friends will be received from 11 AM – 1 PM Tuesday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where a funeral service will follow the viewing at 1 o'clock with Rev. Dean Hay, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Summit Cemetery.
