Hilda L. Gibbs, 91, of Confluence, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville, MD. She was born November 24, 1927 in Addison Township, a daughter of John E. and Eva (McClintock) Phillippi. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Robert Mitchell and Mason Gibbs, sons, James, Larry, Ronald and Terry Mitchell, 3 grandchildren, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by sons, Roger Mitchell and wife, Betty, Addison and Randy Gibbs and wife, Karen, Confluence and a daughter, Darlene Sanner and husband, Orville "Pistol", Addison; 15 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and a sister, Vera Tressler, Confluence. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where a service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday with Rev. Samuel McClintock officiating. Interment in Silbaugh Cemetery. Viewing one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
