Helen R. Newcomer, 65, of Connellsville, passed away Monday, February 22, 2016 at the home of her daughter, Barbara, in Confluence. She was born September 25, 1949 in Normalville, a daughter of Andrew and Pearl (Ohler) Ruby. Her parents, husband, Robert, sisters, Mary and Theresa Nicholson and brothers, John and George Ruby preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, Jerry Yealey, Connellsville and daughters, Kerrie Guirleo, Connellsville and Barbara Abbott, Confluence; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren; brothers, Jacob Ruby, Connellsville, James Ruby, South Connellsville and a sister, Beverly Ruby, Uniontown. Friends will be received from 1 to 2 PM Wednesday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence where a service will follow at two o'clock with Rev. Dean Hay, Jr. officiating.
