Glenn C. Fike, 81, Confluence, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at The Patriot in Somerset. He was born December 31, 1936 in Confluence, a son of Eugene and Edna (Hileman) Fike. His parents, wife, Rosemary (Kubis), brothers, Larry and Clarence and sisters, Virginia Silbaugh, Rosalie Blasco and Lola Latshaw preceded him in death. He is survived by a son, Neil and wife, Sherry, Somerset and a daughter, LeeAnn Spear and husband, Kenneth, Aliquippa; grandchildren, Taylor and Mason Fike and Kenneth John Spear II. Glenn was a veteran of the US Navy and a former employee of S & A Chevrolet in Somerset. He was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church and enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and gardening. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where a vigil for the deceased will be held at 1:45 PM on Friday. Funeral Mass from St. Peter's RC Church at 10 AM Saturday with Father Daniel O'Neill as celebrant. Interment in Somerset County Memorial Park.
