Glen E. Miller, 74, of Confluence, passed away September 28, 2016 at Lytle's Personal Care Home, Markleysburg. He was born December 12, 1941 in Henry Clay Twp., a son of James and Margaret (Sliger) Miller. His parents, wife, Rama Kay (Snyder) Miller, brother, Robert "Buck" Miller and his step parents, Ernest and Doris Butler preceded him in death. He is survived by brothers, Richard E. Miller and wife, Barb and Donald R. Miller and wife, Debbie, all of Confluence; step brother, Dennis Butler, Markleysburg and step sister, Barbara (Butler) McCulley and husband, Jim, Somerset; sister-in-law, Louise Miller, Markleton; six nephews, two nieces, four great nephews and five great nieces. Glen was a retired mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, having worked in Somerset for a number of years. He was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of Confluence V.F.W. Post 7250, Turkeyfoot Fish and Game Assoc., and Meyersdale Lodge No. 0554 F. & A.M. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved his trips with family and friends. There will be no viewing or visitation at Glen's request. The family wishes to thank the staff at Lytle's Personal Care Home for the loving care they gave to Glen.
