Geraldine K. Steele, 90, Confluence, recently of Forest Hills, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the home of her son in Confluence. She was born December 12, 1926 in Franklin, a daughter of Gerald and Myrtle (Colton) Karns. Her parents, husband, Harry E. Steele, brother, Boyd Karns and sisters, Marilou Karns and Norma Foster preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter, Deborah Dunlap and husband, Gerald, Hanover and sons, Douglas and wife, Sherry, Confluence, Thomas and wife, Debbie, Nashville, TN, and Todd and wife, Laurie, Harleysville; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She attended the Confluence Church of the Nazarene, was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and enjoyed camping, bowling and square dancing. Friends will be received from 12 - 2 PM Saturday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence where a service will follow at 2 o'clock with Rev. Gerald Dunlap officiating. Interment in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
