Geraldine "Gerry" (Wirsing) Schrecengost, 90, Pittsburgh, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017 in Pittsburgh. She was born December 17, 1926 in Harnedsville, a daughter of Franklin E. and Ella (Colflesh) Wirsing. Her parents, husband, Joseph F. Schrecengost, brothers, Eston, Donald and Theodore Wirsing and sisters, Louise Koontz, Helen Wirsing, Ruth Shope, Sara Spear and Shirley Graham preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter, Susan Lloyd and husband, Clark, Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Kara and David Lloyd; sister, Mary Lou Morrison and many nieces and nephews. Gerry dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed her daily crossword puzzles and dining out with her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Services and interment in Addison Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Gerry's memory may be made to the Salvation Army.
