HILLIARD
Gerald Martin "Marty" Hilliard, 74, of Confluence, passed away Friday, March 27, 2015 in Henry Clay Villa, Markleysburg. He was born February 28, 1941 in Confluence, a son of Scott F. and Verna Pearl (Thomas) Hilliard. His parents, wife, Rebecca, and brothers, Ronald, Ray, Clyde and Dennis preceded him in death. He is survived by three sons, Douglas Hilliard and wife, Margaret, Markleysburg, Mark Hilliard and Melanie Gank, Hutton, Maryland and Martin Scott Hilliard, Confluence; step children, Karen Turner, Sharpsville, Sherry Cornelius, Waterford and John and Denise Schroyer, Union City; grandchildren, Sarah Pearl Hilliard, Calvin Hilliard and Jordan and Sydney Hilliard; brothers, Keith and wife, Sandy of Confluence and James and wife, Samantha of Rockville, Maryland and sisters, Ida Kay Thompson, Confluence, Ada Fay Shaffer, Ursina, Denise Foy and husband, Tom, Berlin, Wanda Jean Hause and husband, Dave, Berlin and Sharon Hilliard, Windber; Marty was a member of Confluence V.F.W. Post 7250 and the Turkeyfoot Fish and Game Assoc.. He retired from PennDOT after 25 years employment. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence where a service will be held at 1:30 PM Tuesday with Rev. Samuel McClintock officiating. Interment in Maple Summit Cemetery. The family would like to thank Henry Clay Villa and Amedysis Hospice for the care they gave to Marty.
