George Wilson, Jr., 81, Confluence, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017 at his home. He was born August 6, 1936 in Farmington, a son of George Wilson and Lulu (Tressler) Wilson Holliday. His parents, wife, Donna (Willmeth), and a brother, Dale preceded him in death. He is survived by a son, Glenn and wife, Deb, Ursina and a daughter, Pamela Tressler and husband, Brett, Confluence; grandchildren, Melissa Jenkins, Brandon Wilson, Brittany Colflesh and Seth Tressler; numerous great grandchildren; brother, Paul Wilson and wife, Melda, Confluence and sisters, Janet Ripple and husband, Bill, Mt. Pleasant and Patricia Wilson and husband, Gene, Markleysburg. George was retired from Laborers Union Local 1058 and a member of the Turkeyfoot Fish and Game Assoc. and Confluence V.F.W. Post 7250. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where a service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday with Rev. Dean Hay, Jr. officiating. Interment in Silbaugh Cemetery. Viewing Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
