George R. Nickelson, 77, Masury, OH and Addison, PA, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017 in Addison. He was born October 17, 1940 in Confluence, PA, a son of Maurice and Velma (Hyatt) Nickelson. His parents, sisters, Faye Thomas and Sarah Warrick and a brother, Eugene preceded him in death. He is survived by daughters, Donna Nickelson and Skip, Raleigh, NC and Linda Nickelson, Jacksonville, FL and a son, Ronald and wife, Lisa, Hermitage; 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and his dear friend and companion, Gay Bailey, Addison. George was a graduate of Turkeyfoot Valley High School Class of 1958 and worked for Westinghouse and as manager of Corll's Tractor Parts in Hubbard Twp., OH prior to his retirement. Friends will be received from 4-8 PM Thursday and 11 AM to 1 PM Friday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where a service will follow at 1 o'clock with Rev. Samuel McClintock officiating. Interment in Jersey Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Addison United Methodist Church or the Addison Vol. Fire Dept.
