Genevieve (Hall) Tressler, 89, of Confluence, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at the home of her son. She was born December 23, 1924 in Edenborn, West Virginia, a daughter of Russell and Flota (Haun) Hall. Her parents and husband, Everett E. Tressler preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, Everett E. Jr., and wife, Brenda, Confluence; grandsons, Jeff and wife, Laura, Ewing, Illinois and Jarrod and wife, Lori, Somerset and a granddaughter, Linette Wagner and husband, Wes, Farmington; 5 great grandchildren Travis, Brandon, Ashley, Nevin and Annie Tressler and 2 step great grandchildren, Sydney and Patrick; also sisters, Edith Walker, North Jackson, Ohio, Edna Kinnaman, Ephrata, Washington and Ruth Skinner, Miller, South Dakota. Genevieve loved to paint landscapes and work in her flower gardens. Friends will be received at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM and Saturday from 11 AM to 1 PM the hour of service with Rev. Paul Tobias officiating. Interment will follow in Jersey Cemetery.
