Eugene E. Hachman, 63, Confluence, lost his earthly battle with cancer but won when he entered into God's Kingdom on October 19, 2025. He was born May 25, 1962 in Confluence, a son of the late Elmer E. and Edna "Dolly" (Woods) Hachman. He is survived by sisters Linda Hachman, Hollsopple, and Marie (Hachman) Basinger, Connellsville; aunts and uncles, Elaine Hachman, Pat and Paul Woods, Terry and Koni Woods; cousins Kathy Beals, Lorene Fetsko, Tom Hayes, Paul Allen Woods, Teresa Whaley, Stanton Woods, Pamela Hay and Daryl Woods; and best friend Mike Trimpey. Eugene proudly served in the US Army and Army Reserves, worked as a tractor mechanic for MET Co., and was a 1980 graduate of Turkeyfoot Valley Area High School. Friends will be received from 5-7 PM Wednesday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where a service will be held at 11 AM Thursday with Pastor Duane Riddle officiating. Interment in Old Bethel Cemetery. There will be viewing one hour prior to the service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in care of the funeral home or to Linda Hachman.
