Esther G. Melia, 94, Markleysburg, formerly of Confluence, passed away Friday, February 21, 2025 at Henry Clay Villa, Markleysburg. She was born November 16, 1930 in Stewart Twp., a daughter of Robert and Alice (Rugg) Harbaugh. Her parents, sisters, Pearl Kemp and Marlene Schnatterly and brothers, Charles, Oscar, Clifford, James and Donald preceded her in death. She is survived by daughters, Catherine Hinzy (Harry), Confluence, Patricia Bryner (Robert), Scottdale and Beverly Knopsnyder (Randy), Confluence; also, numerous grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren. At Esther's request there will be no viewing or funeral service.
