Elizabeth A. "Libby" Warner, 93, Somerset, formerly of Fort Hill, PA passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017 at The Patriot in Somerset. She was born August 29, 1923 in Meyersdale, a daughter of Fred and Nelle (Hady) Grof. Her parents and husband, Warren preceded her in death. She is survived by sons, James and wife, Carol, Bridgewater, VA and Timothy and wife, Sharon, The Villages, FL; four grandchildren, Robert Warner and wife, Ann, Radford, VA, Amy Belknap and husband, Randall, South Riding, VA, Adam Warner and wife, Erin, Haddon Heights, NJ and Amanda Warner, Oxford, FL and three great grandchildren, Carley and Bailey Belknap and Warren H. Warner. Libby was a life member of the Silbaugh United Methodist Church, where she also belonged to the Ladies Aid Society and played the piano. She was an excellent cook and baker. She graduated from Meyersdale High School in 1941. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where a service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday with Rev. Samuel McClintock officiating. Interment in Silbaugh Cemetery. There will be viewing one hour prior to the service. The family would like to thank the staff at The Patriot for the excellent care afforded to Libby. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Addison United Methodist Church would be appreciated.
