Eleanor M. Beachy, 84, of Fort Hill, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016 at The Patriot in Somerset. She was born June 16, 1931 in Somerfield, a daughter of Corry and Margaret (Cloverdale) Boyd. Her parents, husband, Galen, brother, Preston Boyd, sister, Betty Frazier and son-in-law, Carl E. Nicholson preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, Ronald L. Beachy and wife, Connie, Fort Hill and daughters, Linda M. Nicholson, Mill Run and Betsy Fragnol and husband, Claude, Lyons, France; grandchildren, Carleen Kowalo and husband, Scott, Amber Rishel and husband, Craig, Leanna Weimer and husband, Steve, Roni Langley and husband, Jeff and Meganne Bodelot and fiancé, Julian; great grandchildren, Mason and Haylee Kassouf, Connor and Riley Weimer, Collin Langley and Ruger Kowalo; sister, June Miloro, Wilmington, Delaware and brother, Joe Nicola and wife, Marlene, Somerset. Eleanor was a member of the Silbaugh United Methodist Church and former home health aide for the Area Office of Aging. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where a service will be held at 11 AM Friday with Rev. Dane Cramer officiating. Private interment in Silbaugh Cemetery.
