Edith Katherine Bower, 94, Confluence, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at her home. She was born June 10, 1924 in Stewart Twp., Fayette Co., a daughter of John and Cecelia (Collins) Spittal. Her parents, husband, Dane, a brother, John C. Spittal and an infant sister preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Paul, Confluence; nephews, John Spittal and wife Donna, Ursina, Roger Spittal and wife, Connie, Farmington, Samuel Spittal and wife, Josephine, Ursina and a niece, Colleen Keberly and husband, Alan, Berlin. Also, a number of great nieces and nephews. Edith was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Confluence and retired from Faymore Mfg. At Edith's request there will be no viewing or visitation. Burial will be private in the Addison Cemetery.
